A very important thing happened since my last post. The Democrats swept off year elections! And I mean swept! North and south, east and west, all Democrats on ballots won and big! All trump-endorsed candidates had their asses handed to them, which of course riled dear leader to no end.
It also made evident something much more immediate and important; it uncovered the fear felt by the GOP over losing next year’s midterms. MAGA mouthpiece after MAGA mouthpiece stood at the podium and told their audience about the fact that if Democrats win the midterms next year, the first thing they will do is to impeach dear leader and put his ass in jail, alongside many in the administration and his sycophants, such as that troll village reject Steve Bannon.
All that brings me to my point, which is a sort of a continuation of my previous post; the absolute and utter need for we the people to not sit around and wait to win the midterms in 2026 to win the day. Winning those elections have suddenly become an existential must for the GOP, and you can bet your bippy they will do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to win, or to not lose, if you know what I mean. yeah, I think you do.
The GOP has already, and openly (!?) begun rigging the midterms and cheating in other ways, such as gerrymandering their asses off. However, having suddenly and brutally realized people are pissed off at them, we can fully expect to hear about a good many made up ‘national emergencies’ so dear leader and the GOP can invalidate or askew the midterms’ results. I wouldn’t even be surprised for them to start a full-on civil war to suspend the constitution and declare martial law. I really wouldn’t.
So I say again, gentle readers, don’t just wait for thing to work out; for the rule of law and democracy to win out just on principle. DO SOMETHING! If you’re near, march on DC! Go on mass strike if you’re union! Occupy DC or FBI headquarters or somewhere else important! Yes, sacrifices will have to be made; you will all have to sit and think, really think, what your democracy and your constitution, all your rights and freedoms, are worth to you.
I hope you will then act accordingly.
