To be honest, I began writing a post right after the idiot in chief blindly followed Netanyahu into Iran and began bombing whatever targets they could find, old maps and data be damned, killing 175 school children almost immediately. But I realized as I wrote that I couldn’t get my head around it all, that I was just babbling and summarizing and not really saying anything. Things were just so confusing and happening fast, I just… I just couldn’t make any sense of it all.
So I waited for things to settle down a bit, as they do; to fall into a prescribed pattern. I waited for the American heavy bombing to subside and for Iran to come to the negotiating table and for the two to work something out and stop killing innocents. Netanyahu left the Iranian skies after a few days to focus on murdering more Palestinians and Lebanese people just because he can, and left the stable genius to sort out the Iran thing all on his own.
And that was when the whole ‘pattern’ thing' took the weirdest turn, one that the entire world, except dear leader, saw coming from miles away. Iran shut the strait of Hormuz down, almost immediately crippling the world economy and sending gas prices sky high.
Your move, dumbass.
And ever since then (two or so months ago), Iran and Trump have been stuck in a loop, talking about a ceasefire and stopping hostilities, only attacking each other occasionally so they can still say their ceasefire is intact, calling it all off in a huff, only to start the whole thing over again in a few days.
Trump is fine with this, meanwhile. This way, he can keep from having to answer congress (as feeble and sycophantic as it is) for the War Powers Act… oh didn’t I mention he attacked Iran without congressional approval as per our constitution? Oh you guessed as much, I see. Anyway, he can hide from congress and Iran can just hold the upper hand and show the world exactly how inept and useless the current American administration is; its leader especially.
So that’s where we are, dear reader, in one of those cycles, with no end in sight, since Trump is laser focused on Iran giving up its nuclear whatnots and Iran basically telling him to fuck off. Trump and that human grease stain Hegseth keep threatening ‘absolute annihilation’ if Iran doesn’t cave in. So far, it’s all been bully bullshit, but a part of me worries this orange idiot is going to do something horrible just so he doesn’t have to admit his worthlessness and ineptitude. Lest we forget, gentle reader, this is the same man who managed to bankrupt a casino, by all accounts a can’t lose business. Yes, he probably did it on purpose for fraud, but still… why wouldn’t he just sit back and watch the legal proceeds roll in?
Anyway, the world economy is now held hostage by a nitwit, while his masters Putin and Netanyahu kill and maim as many innocent people as they can before they are inevitably held to account, one way or another. Oh, and Trump is now considering attacking Cuba, for… some reason?
